About the Event
One of my favorite KABC rides was when Allyn Schneider..”that’s Allyn with a Y”…. led a ride at Pickney Island. Because he was also a docent at the Coastal Discovery Museum, he made the ride extra special with his knowledge of the flora and fauna of Pickney Island.
In Allyn’s honor and memory, I am leading a ride on the trails at Pickney Island on Sunday, December 18th. It will begin at 9:00…just in time to be at White Point for low tide and a photo opp…which Allyn always incorporated.
This is not a B ride, nor a C ride, nor a Social Ride…it’s an Allyn Ride. You’ll need your off-road (hybrid) bike…or rent an e-bike for the day. Don’t expect any insight into the local flora and fauna, unless I can recruit someone from CDM.
Although KABC membership is not required to participate, you must complete this online registration.
